Boalmari Upazila (Faridpur district) with an area of 272.34 sq km, is bounded by madhukhali upazila on the north, alfadanga upazila on the south, nagarkanda and faridpur sadar upazilas on the east and mohammadpur and Alfadanga upazilas on the west. Main rivers are madhumati, Old Kumar; Naidaer Beel is noted.
